Restoring a Small Wooden Boat

You no doubt have had the experience that we have of being offered an older wooden boat in need of “a little work”. The 13 foot Maine built dinghy pictured at right is a fine example, lovely lines, well built, but with pockets of rot here and there and in need of some serious TLC. Come help us give her a new life and learn the ‘tricks of the trade’ along the way. When restored, this little beauty is slated to join our growing Boat Livery for use on Carmans River by CRMC members.
